You can remove the Phone Link app from current Windows 11 installations through normal app-management controls when the installed version offers an Uninstall option. If Windows does not offer removal on your particular build, you can disable its startup and account connections instead of using unsupported removal scripts.
How to Remove Phone Link in Windows 11
- Open Settings.
- Select Apps > Installed apps.
- Find Phone Link.
- Open the app’s three-dot menu.
- Select Uninstall if Windows provides the option, then confirm.
If Uninstall Is Not Available
Windows app-removal capabilities can vary by version and system configuration. If Phone Link cannot be uninstalled through supported Settings controls, turn off its startup/background behavior where available and unlink your phone instead. Avoid third-party debloat scripts or broad PowerShell removal commands that can affect other Windows components.
Unlink Your Phone
Open Phone Link and its device/account settings to remove the connected device. You may also need to review the corresponding Link to Windows settings on the phone. Removing a connection is separate from uninstalling the Windows application.
Removing Phone Link Does Not Erase Your Phone
Uninstalling or unlinking Phone Link does not factory-reset the mobile device. However, review synchronized or shared data separately if you are preparing either device for another person.
