If the required supported .NET Framework is not present and Microsoft provides an installer for the operating system, obtain it from Microsoft’s official download/support resources.
Step 5: Verify the application
Reopen the program or installer that required .NET Framework and confirm that the dependency is now satisfied.
What Happens Next
.NET Framework updates integrate with Windows servicing. A newer .NET product such as modern .NET 8/9/10 is a separate platform and is not simply an in-place ‘update’ to .NET Framework for every application.
