Most current Beats headphones and earbuds connect to a Windows 11 PC through Bluetooth. Put the Beats device into pairing mode, then add it from Windows Bluetooth settings. The exact pairing button or gesture depends on the Beats model.
How to Connect Beats to Windows 11
Step 1: Turn on Bluetooth in Windows
Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Step 2: Put the Beats device in pairing mode
Use the pairing procedure for your specific Beats model. The indicator light normally signals when the headphones or earbuds are discoverable.
Step 3: Add a Bluetooth device
In Windows Bluetooth settings, choose Add device, then select Bluetooth.
Step 4: Select your Beats
Choose the Beats device when it appears in the list and wait for Windows to complete pairing.
Step 5: Check the audio output
Select the sound/output control on the taskbar and make sure the Beats device is selected for playback.
If the Beats Do Not Appear
Move them close to the PC, confirm they are actually in pairing mode, and disconnect them from another device if that connection prevents discovery. Restart Bluetooth or the PC if necessary.
If Sound Quality Changes During Calls
Bluetooth headsets can use different audio modes for high-quality playback and for two-way microphone communication. Available behavior depends on the Beats model, Windows Bluetooth support, and the calling application.
Additional Information
If the PC does not have working Bluetooth hardware, changing Windows settings will not create it. Use a compatible Bluetooth adapter or another connection method supported by the Beats model.
