The Twitch app on your iPhone makes it easy for you to discover and watch video content from your favorite streamers.
By following, liking, or subscribing to a streamer you can set up your Twitch account to alert you when that streamer is live so that you can watch it.
But if you are an active Twitch user and you are following or are subscribed to a lot of different content creators, then you may be getting a lot of notifications.
One way that you can handle these notifications is to simply disable notifications from Twitch on your iPhone. This won’t affect your Twitch account settings, so you can still get those notifications in other ways, but it will stop Twitch from giving you notifications on your phone.
How to Turn Off Notifications for the Twitch iPhone App
The steps in this guide were performed on an iPhone 11. I am using the most current version of the Twitch app that was available when this article was written.
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Choose the Notifications option.
Step 3: Scroll down and select Twitch.
Step 4: Tap the button to the right of Show Notifications to turn it off.
This won’t affect any of the notifications for your other apps. It also won’t prevent Twitch from sending you email notifications, not will it prevent notifications on other devices like your computer or an iPad.
