To increase the font size in Windows 10, select Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Display. Drag the Make text bigger slider until the sample text is easy to read, then select Apply. To make text, apps, and icons bigger together, choose a larger size under Make everything bigger.

Make only the text bigger
- Select Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Display.
- Under Make text bigger, drag the slider to the right.
- Select Apply.
This changes text in menus, title bars, and Settings. Windows may show Please wait for a moment while it applies the change.
Make everything bigger
- Select Start > Settings > System > Display.
- Under Scale and layout, choose a larger size, such as 125% or 150%.
Some older apps look blurry after scaling. Sign out and back in to fix most of them.
Zoom in with the keyboard
- Magnifier: press Windows logo key + Plus (+) to zoom in and Windows logo key + Minus (-) to zoom out. Press Windows logo key + Esc to turn it off.
- Web pages and many apps: press Ctrl + Plus (+) or Ctrl + Minus (-), or hold Ctrl and scroll. Press Ctrl + 0 to reset.

Can I change the font itself?
Windows 10 Settings doesn’t have an option for the system font. Many apps, such as browsers and word processors, let you pick their own font and size.
