How Do I Change the Picture Behind My Apps on an iPhone 7?

The apps that you have installed on your iPhone 7 are typically your primary focus when you are looking at the device’s screen. But there’s also a picture behind those apps, called Wallpaper, that provides some extra style to the screen layout.

Currently you may not be happy with the picture that is shown in that location, and you might be curious if that is something that you can adjust. Fortunately it is, and our guide below will show you how to change the picture behind your iPhone apps.

How to Change Wallpaper on an iPhone 7

The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in IOS 12.2. By completing the steps in this guide you will adjusting the image shown on your Home’ screen’s background. You will also be given the option of setting the lock screen picture during this process as well.

Step 1: Open the Settings menu.

Step 2: Choose the Wallpaper option.

Step 3: Tap the Choose a New Wallpaper button.

Step 4: Browse through the available image options (including the pictures you have taken) and select the picture that you wish to display on your Home screen background.

Step 5: Tap the Set button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: Choose whether you wish to use this image for the Home Screen, Lock Screen, or both.
