How to Block an iPhone 14 Contact
The instructions in this post were carried out using an iPhone 14 Plus running iOS 16.5.
These procedures are applicable to most other versions of iOS as well as many other iPhone models, including the following:
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
Step 1: On your iPhone, launch the Phone app.
Step 2: At the bottom of the screen, select the Contacts tab.
Step 3: Choose which contact to block.
Step 4: Select the Block This Caller option.
Step 5: Confirm by touching Block Contact.
You’ll be able to better manage someone who is constantly attempting to phone, text, or FaceTime you, but you don’t want to interact with them now that you know how to block contacts on iPhone 14.
It’s worth noting that the iPhone has a specific “Contacts” app, which many people are unaware of.
Swipe to the left on your first Home screen to find the Contacts icon, which should be in a Utilities folder. If you don’t want to use the Phone app, you can access your contact list through that app.
You can also block numbers that have called you even if they are not saved as contacts. Simply launch the Phone app, navigate to the Recents page, and then tap the i button to the left of the number.
There is also a Block This Caller button there that you may use to block that number.
