Printing Background Colors and Images in Word
The steps in this article were performed in Microsoft Word 2013. By completing these steps you will be changing a setting in Microsoft Word 2013 so that the program prints background colors and images in documents that you create.
Note that this can cause you to use considerably more ink, especially for long documents that have full background colors.
Step 1: Open Word 2013.
Step 2: Click the File tab at the top-left corner of the window.
Step 3: Select Options at the bottom of the column on the left side of the window.
Step 4: Choose the Display tab at the left side of the Word Options menu.
Step 5: Check the box to the left of Print background colors and images, then click the OK button at the bottom of the window.
