On an iPhone, how do you stop someone from sending you emails?
The instructions in this post were carried out on an iPhone 13 running iOS 16.4.
The same methods will apply to other iPhone 13 models, such as:
- Apple iPhone 13 Mini
- Apple iPhone 13 Pro
- Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
Step 1: Launch the Mail application.
Step 2: Locate an email from the sender that you want to block, then swipe left on that message.
Step 3: Click the circle with three dots inside it.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of this menu and choose Block Sender.
Please keep in mind that this only applies to emails from this unique email address. If the same person, organization, or business sends you emails from a different email address, you will continue to receive them until you block those new senders as well.
A red circle with a diagonal line should now appear at the bottom-right of the message, indicating that future emails from this sender will be prohibited.
If you decide to unblock a sender later, you can swipe left on an email from them, hit the three-dot icon, scroll to the bottom, and select the Unblock Sender option.
