Your iPhone 7 keyboard can switch between uppercase and lowercase letters while you are typing.
While this can be helpful in letting you know what character you are going to type next, it can be frustrating that the keys change.
If you would prefer that the keys stay in the uppercase format, as they had in past versions of iOS, then you can follow the steps below to turn off the lowercase keys on your iPhone’s keyboard.
Step 1: Open the Settings menu.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap the General option.
Step 3: Select the Accessibility option.
Step 4: Scroll down and select the Keyboard option.
Step 5: Tap the button to the right of Show Lowercase Keys to turn it off. You will no longer see lowercase keys on your iPhone keyboard when there is no green shading around that button, and the button is in the left position. The iPhone in the picture below will not show lowercase keys.
Now that you know how to disable lowercase keys on the iPhone 7, you will be able to keep the keys as uppercase regardless of whether or not you have pressed the shift key while typing.
