Your iPhone can occasionally need to be restarted, just like your computer. The settings menu on an iPhone is one way to turn it off.
This is a feature that hasn’t always been accessible, but you can now find it on the iPhone 13 and other gadgets running current iOS releases.
Go to Settings > General > Shut Down and then drag the slider to the right side of the screen to turn off your iPhone 13.

How to Turn Off Your iPhone
The iOS 16 operating system was used to carry out the instructions in this article on an iPhone 13.
Step 1: On your Home screen, locate the Settings app icon. Choose it to access the menu.
Step 2: From this menu, select the General option.
Step 3: Go to the page’s bottom and click the Shut Down button.
Step 4: To turn the device off, drag the Slide to Power Off slider to the right side of the screen.
After the iPhone has turned off, you can hold down the Power button while waiting for the white Apple logo to appear before releasing it.
When the device has finished restarting, enter your passcode to access it once more.
You can use this method to shut down an iPhone 13 whenever you want to or when you need to restart it to try to fix a problem now that you know how to do it.
Note that you can also conduct a soft reset on your iPhone 13 by simultaneously pressing and holding the Power and Volume Up buttons. When the slider appears, move it to the right side of the screen.
You must perform a force restart on your iPhone 13 if the screen is frozen or unresponsive. Pressing the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons, followed by holding down the Power button until the device goes off and the white Apple logo appears to signify that the device is restarting, will accomplish this.
